FAMILY TRIPS

Share in the excitement of a Temagami wilderness adventure with your family. Away from the usual distractions of daily life, you can connect with one another on a journey of discovery through this unique wilderness region. Paddle interconnected lakes and rivers, explore the network of trails developed by the Anishnawbeg people thousands of years ago, or spend an afternoon sharing in the traditions of the native Ojibwe on Bear Island. Slide down nature’s natural water slides and eat lunch beneath a waterfall. Swim, rock climb, or leap from a forty foot cliff’s edge into sparkling lake waters. Work together as team to set up camp and cook the evening’s meal over an open fire. Everyone has fun and participates in the experience.

All of our wilderness family packages are designed to be safe and offer route choices and activities that suit the ages and abilities of your children. The majority of our lake and river trips can be self guided or you can choose our guided wilderness package. Our family adventures encourage an appreciation of the natural world and lifetime of memories for you and your kids.

The Temagami Outfitting Company’s wilderness adventures are fully outfitted ... just bring your clothes and personal gear. With knowledge and a commitment to service, you can trust us to create a fun and exciting adventure for you and your family.
